There is a god inside of you
Why we are a god ourselves.
Inside all of us, there is a god. A strong feeling, a sort of energy that creates who we are and that creates our imagination.
The other day I sat down to watch a movie with my sister. This is something we started doing a while ago and ever since we try to watch a different movie every single week. Just to spend some time together and enjoy good and bad movies. The last 3 weeks we’ve been watching all three Narnia’s. And even though these movies are fiction based, there are still some parts that made me think of the way I live and how this world works. One of which is that we have the power of a god with the new technologies.
Just think of it, we have the power to think creatively to come up with idea’s, stories, concepts you go on. We have the power to create worlds in our minds but with all the technology we have right now, we can start to create these world for real. These places in which you are the god, you decide what is created and what is deleted. We are gods.
I might have offended some people with those words but please be open-minded about this. Just try to think about it as openly as I can. Now I have been religious in the past but stopped believing in one specific religion just because I believe that there is a god but that, that God didn’t indent to create religions. Religions make us selfish and they don’t allow us to think outside of our boxes. I think that we humans created these religions because we want to be as close to a god as possible. We want to feel mighty and we want to feel powerful. And we can but not by creating religions that’s why I try to tell you that we are gods. We have the power to create worlds that we can control. It is called the power of creativity, a power that is way stronger than we can imagine. A power that feeds us and drives our world because without creativity we wouldn’t be able to create the wheel, we wouldn’t be able to create a computer, we wouldn’t be able to create anything. Think about it where would we be?
But by dreaming, writing, painting, drawing, creating we allow our mind to have the control over a different world. It is totally able to destroy it with a single wipe or it is able to help it in a single line of text. You have the power to create. With this power, you not only create stories to read, images to see or music to hear. No, you create movement. You create a movement for all the generations to come, you create knowledge that will help you and others to grow and to evolve this earth. That’s why I think we are all gods of this earth because if we create something in our minds that is translated to the ‘real world’ we change it a little.
Now you might say that ‘God’ has all of this planned out for us but I don’t think so. I don’t think that a God would let his own people slaughter each other, I don’t think a God would let us kill this earth. No, I think this God has split up it didn’t have the time and the energy to help all of us. It needed to split up into all of us, it needed to be with all of us at all time of day. And by no means am I saying that ‘God’ is weak or not strong enough. No ‘God’ is more powerful this way because he too has to accept that sometimes it is better to take a step back before going 5 steps forward. That’s why ‘God’ is inside us helping us create new worlds, new dreams, and new places.
Places that haven’t been explored yet and will never be explored if you don’t allow your brain to think creatively. Creativity was and will always be the beginning and the end of things that’s why we are creative.
Embrace your inner God and let it create what it wants to create.
